Man, i think we should not worry much about the accomodation, its hardly one day we stay. some small hotel/dorm will work out.

Now lets roughly sketch the Budget per person for this trip:-

Fuel- 300/- (one way)
Accomodation - 100/-
Food/Snacks/Drinks - 500/-

so it comes to 800/- per person for this trip.

lets round it off to 1000/- to be on safer side :)...

please add on if something is missed out!

Post lunch we should move around and see the following:

Yercaud Lake:
The first thing that attracts a visitor is the lake. It is a picturesque pool surrounded by gardens and well wooded trees. Boating in the cold water of the lake is enchanting as well as refreshing.

The Anna Park:
Near the Lake. It is a lovely garden

Lady's Seat:
It overlooks the winding ghat road and provides a breath - taking view. This view is spectacular at night with the twinkling lights of Salem town in sight. The Tourists can have a panoramic view of the plains below through the telescope mounted at the

Pagoda Point:
Another vantage viewpoint.

The Servaroyan Temple:
It is situated atop Servaroyan hill. The tribals here celebrate their annual festival in May every year.

The Montfort School:
The Montfort School and the Sacred Heart Convent are the two famous educational institutions at Yercaud imparting education to boys and girls respectively.

Saturday night dinner at the Sterling Resort!!! (Pretty Famous)

Sunday Early Morning Sunrise!

Walk thru yercaud, come back to room after lunch, rest for an hr and CHECK OUT.

Sunday 4:00PM :- departure to Bangalore

5:30PM:- Coffee/Tea at salem and heading back to Bangalore

7:00PM:- 15min Break at dharmapuri and start again.

8:45PM:- 15min break at Krishnagiri and start again.

10:00PM :- BANGALORE!

hows it?, cool right?
